​The McHenry Area Jaycees will host the Annual Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt on December 14th beginning from 5 pm and ending at 7:30 pm. This event is free to attend and requires registration at event “making teams” or cars.

the hunt will begin in Woodstock, Starbucks in the Square, where each team will receive a list of holiday lights they will hunt down. The hunt will start at 5:30 pm. Teams can use any mode of transportation to find the items on the scavenger hunt list. The hunt will end at 7 pm, or when all the teams have returned. A first, second, and third place winner will be determined based on how many items on the list they were able to find, using the faster time as a tie-breaker

RULES OF THE SCAVENGER HUNT!
  • Teams must be in one mode of transportation 
  • Teams must have only one photographer 
  • Teams must register before getting the list 
  • Find as many items on the list and take pictures
    • 1 item per picture
      • 1 house will not be used for multiple items
    • Pictures Not ACCEPTED 
      • blurry pictures
      • pictures inside of homes or retails
  • Teams must be back no later than 7 pm
